http://www.discoverskills.com - In this video which is part of a DiscoverSkills series called "My Favorite Apps", we take a look at a photo editing app called Aviary app. If you search the App Store for photo editor, you'll see a ton of them out there, from very simple (and almost worthless) to those that offer advanced photo editing.
Aviary falls somewhat in the middle. It has a wide range of features and effects, and yet is fairly simple to use. It's not necessarily the photo editor I would use to do a lot of fix-up or restoration on a photo, but for day-to-day, quick fix before I send it types of things, I think it works well. Which is why I added it to my "Favorite App" list.

Aviary Photo Editor is a great Chrome Extension that you can also use on Mobile across all platforms. It's easy to use, but has a lot of cool features. It also works seamlessly into your Google Drive, and you can make it the default app for opening up image attachments.
In this video I explore 2 different websites that offer online video editing. Aviary.com is a simple photo editor for basic changes like re-sizing and cropping, while Pixlr.com offers something more advanced (a bit closer to Photoshop in its options) as well as a cool Vintage photo effects tool.
