In this tutorial i will show you how to create some really cool photo effects inside photoshop without using any extra brush , texture or anything.

First of all i will show you how to remove background from the model and few other tips but if you are pro and already know how to do it then you can skip it. And we are ready to apply all the effects.

Then I will show how you create backgrounds for photo effects from scratch. And the cool this is that you can use same method to create many different backgrounds. After that we will apply some filters to create some abstract effect and create some really cool borders around the subject.

Then i will show you a secret way to load brushes that are already inside photoshop and will show you some tricks for using them creatively. You will also learn how to use brush tools so you can modify any brush you have in photoshop.

You will have to apply brushes again and again and don’t use the same brushes that I do, try using different ones , it will help you to learn things faster. Once you crate you effect in photoshop and think that it looks good enough then I will show you a trick to create masks inside photoshp and then the best part, glowing lights.

i will show how you can create soft light glows without using lens flares and then some color correction so mix up things and create the final output. You can use this photo effect on almost any image and it will work just as good.

Now on this tutorial. see, there are no limits when it comes to lighting effects in photoshop and evenyone has there own different style for using it. i will show you some of my tricks to make your images look even awesome.

we will start by adjusting the basic color of image by using curves adjustment layer and then will change the color using selective colors tool. selective colors is the best tool while working on effects like this. The best part is that it allows you to remove contrast from the shadow and then you can add any colors in shadows to make it look more vintage.

After that we will again go back to curves and change some color here and there, after that i will show you how you can levels adjustment to change over all feeling of the image.And then comes the lighting it self. yes ,that's the thing about this effect you have to do a lot of adjustment before applying the lighting effect.

Once everything is ready, i will show how to create beautiful lens flare from scratch and change its color so it looks even better and you can use it on almost any image which dose not have hard sun light.

In this video i will show you how you can create a photo effect really fast.

first of all i am going to use a set of brushes and if you want to use them click on the download link.

The effect it self is really easy and anyone can do it but the main part is finding the proper brush set and having patience. Coz the process is simple but there are a lot trial and errors. And also one good thing is that you dont need to create some fancy background for this effect, you can just use any solid color and you will be good to go.

And if you want to use some other brush instead of this, make sure its good resolution or the final output will look very bad. And same goes with the image, go to good websites like deviantart.com , so you can find some very well shot photos to use in photoshp.

I am also gonna use masking in this video so get ready for that too, even though i have tried explaining some basics so it should not be that tough. And there are also some very simple lighting tricks to give it that fashion look.

plus some basic color correction that we do every time to finish the image and no other troubles.

sweet simple soft warm lighting effect using couple of adjustment layers and a brush.

So, why soft light again and again ? well coz they are so amazing and you can never get tired of using it even after 100th time and there are just countless ways to do this thing differently all the time.

And what makes this video little different is that the final output is pretty contrasty. Normally when you create effects like this the end image is really washed out and dull on the color side but not this one, I have done my best to make sure the soft light looks realistic and makes some kind of sense.

on the other side i have also added some colors in shadows and removed some contrast and all sorts of different things so that the final image looks kickass and it kind of dose. and accept this lighting, which we will create using brush, everything else can be done again using actions.

Plus this can work on any image and if you try hard enough this will probably also work on an image solid sun light, out put wont look good as this but still you can try and nothing else. so create your own soft light look and share it on our facebook page :)

Create a dark spooky night photo manipulation in photoshop

This is one long tutorial but its worth it, i will show you how you can combined three different images and match them, so that it looks like that they belong in same environment.

First we will start by cutting the subject and then cutting the grave and if you know how to cut something in photoshop then skip masking part, it will save you some time. And then i will show how you can use grass brushes to mix subject and grave in jungle.

Then comes the shadow part, you will learn how you can crate shadows for your subject and how to manipulate them so that they blend really good in the scene and look realistic.

After that we will add some fog in the image to give it that spooky feeling and it is really really simple trick to create fog and anyone can follow it without using any custom brushes. Then we will apply some color correction in photo to make effect even better.

I have gone full blue to get that really mystery look , and i have used many many adjustment layers , i just stopped keeping count of anything. Then i will show some different tricks to create a blue light ball so we can create sort of fake moon light.

Then for the final touch i will show you how to sharpen certain parts of the image and then add fake depth of field so that it looks like it was shot on some really fancy camera and then again some final touches and you are good to go.

A short and sweet photo manipulation that will show how you can use only sky as a background and make people hold things in hand.

So, sometimes it can be a big trouble to find a background for your image or sometimes you are just plain tired of going through long process of searching 100s of images to find that right image or you can be feeling lazy like me. But now the wait is over because tutorials junction is back with solution. ( lol, that was cheesy)

So , the model image kind of looks simple to cut from the background but in reality its not that fun, white dress in front of white background, i mean who the hell shoots pics like this, its a pain in the ass to cut this image using quick selection. But hey, its TJ you can find solution for almost everything and no, we will not use pen tool.

we will start by doing some basic selection with quick selection and then we will use tools like magnetic lasso and other nifty tools to cut the subject from the background. then comes the sky and download link for all the tutorials is in the description.

Add the damn sky and do some color correction like i show you in the video and then do couple of clicks here and there and you are good to go. Ok, actually its not that easy but compare to my other videos its pretty damn simple. And yeah the feather.

To add the feather we are going to use masking, and the feather file is PNG so you don't need to do any hard work of cutting it from the background. I will also show some color correction tips to mix the feather in the whole manipulation and transform it a little so that it look a little realistic . And some lighting on top of that. that's it, your manipulation is ready.

In today's step by step Photoshop tutorial. We will be learning how to create a Disintegration Effect. We will be focusing on adding the disintegration effect by using "particle" Photoshop brushes, Masks and the Liquify tool. We also we will adding a cracked texture and blending/warping it to look as if it's wrapping around her face. I will also be using the Camera Raw filter a little bit and adjustment layers to make the color of the image really stand out. Tools used in this tutorial:

The Type Tool: Click and type! If you've ever used a word processing application, you already know how it works! Up on the Options Bar, you can change your typeface, font size, style, color, and so on!

Layer Masks: If there's an area of your layer that you wish to hide (or bring back), Layer Masks will help you do that. Painting using a black brush will hide portions of the layer, and painting with a white brush will reveal them.

Layer Styles: If you're looking to add effects to your layers, you'll likely want to use Layer Styles. Whether it's an outer glow, a few shadows, or a bevel to give it depth, the possibilities are endless!

In today's Photoshop tutorial, learn how to give your models a 'porcelain doll' look, using Adjustment Layers, Layer Masks, and the Liquify Filter.

Tools used in this tutorial:

Color Range: If you're looking to select all or most of a single color in your image, Color Range will help you do that. It lets you automatically target pure colors, or sample specific colors using the eye dropper. To add to your sample, hold down shift. To subtract, hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac). Pressing OK will create the selection. Newer versions of Photoshop also lets you select skin tones.

Quick Selection Tool: This selection method works very similar to a brush, allowing you to brush over the areas you wish to turn into a selection. By default, every stroke adds to your selection. If you wish to deselect some areas, hold down your Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac) key and brush.

Refine Edge: When you initially create a selection, it's likely to be very sharp around the edges, and likely won't contain hair or fur. Refine Edge will allow you to not only soften out those edges, but you'll be able to use Smart Radius to grab hair and fur which may not have been selected.

Adjustment Layers (Vibrance, Curves, Color Fill): By using an Adjustment Layers, you're able to change targeted areas of your photo without damaging the original layer. These can either be applied to the full image, or specific areas using selections or Layer Masks. At any point in the future, you can either make changes to the adjustment, hide it, or delete it completely.
