in this soft lighting photo manipulation tutorial i will show you how you can composite a studio shot on top of a building and create fake sun and give it really soft lighting effect.
First of all we will start by cutting her from the background and its a red dress with a green background, so it super easy to cut. And for the transparent part of the dress i will show you a trick that we normally use for hair cutting.
Then comes the background ,now i have used to images building as a backdrop and a something as a surface, i think its a road but i am not sure. I will also show you in depth tricks to paint proper shadows so that she dose not look like she is floating in the air. I mean even if you want her to float, you will still need shadows, but that is not the point.
Then we will add a building image as a background and will give it a tilt for no god damn reason. It looks cool, dose that count ? so once everything is in its proper place its time to create the one and only fake sun. Its super simple and i have shown it like million times in my videos.

Photoshop CC tutorial showing how to apply the cinematic effect to your photographs. The cinematic effect that we're going for is the teal-orange look, which is a typical movie effect in action movies.
This effect gives the dark shades of your image a cool teal tone, while the light shades take a warm orange look. This makes the actor stand out since the colors are complementary and creates a "pop"when put side by side.
It is a good idea to do a color correction on your image, so you that it has neutral grays and no color cast.

This is a great video to learn about the tools available in the Pixlr Editor for flipping and mirroring images. Mirroring is a great way to add two yous in an image. Also it is great for correction of distorted text.(reversal) If you have any questions please comment and I'l be sure to answer them.
This is a great video if you or someone you know wishes to rotate an image using the Pixlr Editor. Rotation doesn't just take place on the whole image. It can be done on selected portions of the image. Also it can be done independently on specific layers. Free transformation is the only option that provides non-standard degrees of rotation. Photo manipulation is a tool used by photographers, photojournalists, photo editors, graphic designers and others working in visual communications, communication design, visual arts, mass media, content design, page layout, and related fields.
What's it about?
Photo manipulation creatively combines and modifies elements of a photo to produce a unique image that is convincing to a viewer. Manipulation gives a photo a realistic view of an unreal picture. The entire manipulation process is subjective.
After they are shot, many photos turn out to need small corrections, adjustments or modifications. For instance, as the result of such factors as technical characteristics of the camera or the weather or available lighting they may need perfecting or enhancing. In addition, many photos today are "photoshopped" to satisfy the imagination and creativity of a photographer.
The widely-used term photoshopped comes from the brand name of the most popular image manipulation software, Photoshop from Adobe Systems Incorporated.

Have you heard about Color Look Up Tables? They're a fairly recent addition to the photographic workflow, having been added to Photoshop in version CS6. But the premise behind color look up tables (sometimes called CLUTs or LUTs) has been around a lot longer than that as a method of transforming colors. For example, in the profile adjustment of a computer monitor, or in "grading" the look of film and video, LUTs have always played a vital role. A look up table essentially says "this color should actually be rendered like that color," remapping one set of colors into another. Converting colorful hues into many grayscale tonal values, for instance, or simply converting one palette into a slightly warmer or cooler version of itself. You can imagine how this would be useful for the wholesale changing of colors, rather than doing it selectively, pixel by pixel, frame by frame, time after time.
Digital Photo Tip Of The Week The addition of CLUTs to Photoshop's image editing capabilities is especially useful, though, because with a Color Look Up Table applied to an image as an adjustment layer you've got a whole new way to change the entire look of an image without permanently affecting a single pixel. That can be a subtle adjustment (like a warmer image with lower contrast) or a total off-the-wall overhaul (like a color negative or cross processing effect). Color look up tables as adjustment layers become, essentially, one-click picture styles that can do really great things for your photographs—and your videos. And because the changes are made on an adjustment layer they can be easily modified, masked and even eliminated without affecting the pixels on the layers below.
To apply a CLUT to an image, simply click the grid-like CLUT icon on the Adjustment Layers palette. Then in the CLUT Properties window you can choose from a few dozen options in the 3DLUT File, Abstract and Device Link drop down menus. For my money, the best options are in the 3DLUT File menu, but the others are certainly useful, too. When you click on any of these options (via the radio button to their left) you'll be greeted with an "Open" window in which to load a file. Close this window, and instead choose from one of the options in the dropdown menus instead.
Digital Photo Tip Of The Week When you choose one of these profiles or LUTs, you'll instantly see your image change—a lot or a little, depending on what you've selected. You can turn the effect on and off, now or later, by simply toggling the adjustment layer in the Layers palette. You can also make a layer mask to apply the CLUT to only part of an image, or adjust the intensity selectively (via a mask) or on the entire layer by simply adjusting the opacity. (Modifying an adjustment layer via masking, whether it's a CLUT layer or any other, works just the same as any other layer mask.)
I like to think of Photoshop's Color Look Up Table adjustment layers as a form of a picture style because, much like you might set a picture style in your camera to create a certain contrast and saturation profile, you can give your image a particular "look" with what amounts to the click of a button. It's all because Color Look Up Tables were added to Photoshop as Photoshop became video-capable; it just so happens that this old tool from the movie world works really well on stills, too.

You've probably seen a similar grungy effect in movie posters and advertisements. Nike has used it a lot lately, or at least something similar.
This effect is actually quite simple; all we'll use is two adjustment layers, and one filter. One of those adjustment layers is the "Color Lookup" adjustment layer which is new in Photoshop CS6.
If you have CS5 or older don't worry about it, I'll be showing you an alternative technique, that should give you very similar results.
